Binod Bihari Mahato Koylanchal University (BBMKU) has released the results for UG Semester 1 (Session 2023-27). The Exam Board has officially approved the results, and students can expect the results to be available online from today evening or by tomorrow.


In the recently held UG Semester 1 exams, approximately 25,000 students participated. The overall pass percentage for subject-wise results stands at 41.75%. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the pass percentage across various papers:

  • Major Paper: 72.62% students passed
  • Minor Paper: 78.47% students passed
  • AECC Paper: 76.72% students passed
  • VAC Paper: 88.18% students passed
  • MDC Paper: 79.50% students passed
  • SEC Paper: 82.27% students passed

The result for this session has shown improvement compared to the previous session (2022-26), where only 29% of students passed the UG Semester 1 exams subject-wise.

Delayed Results for Three Colleges

The results for three colleges have been withheld: PK Roy Memorial College, Sindri College, and Degree College Jamadoba. These colleges have not yet submitted the internal examination marks for the major papers to the exam department. The Controller of Examinations, Dr. Suman Kumar Barnwal, has stated that once these results are released, the overall university result is expected to improve further.
